Q: What is Native Resolution?
A: Every projector that uses micro displays, whether they are LCD panels, DLP or LCOS chips, has a fixed array of pixels on those micro displays. That fixed array of pixels is known as the native resolution of the projector.
Q: Can this projector play Netflix?
A: Due to copyright, almost all Wi-Fi projectors on the market are not compatible with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ Video when syncing screen via Wi-Fi. Hope you can understand and please use the TV stick/ Chromecast to play these videos.
Q: What is Supported Resolution?
A: On the market, most 480p projector claims it is "Full HD 1080p supported". To be honest, overall clarity and sharpness determined by native resolution.480p projector can only process 1080p video source, but overall clarity still is 480p.
It works great
Purchased this during the Halloween sale 2022. If you don't pick this up before the sale is over, you are being ridiculous. The ability to scale for size from 50% to 100% is excellent (however you will need manually adjust focus after you use the scaling. Its not that big a deal). The auto keystone option works pretty well. You can also complete a partial "manual keystone" to angle the screen forward or back based on the angle you have your projector on. Do yourself a favor and get a FIRESTICK and forget about the Wi-Fi adapter that is currently sold-out at the Bomaker site. With the FIRESTICK you'll kill two birds with one stone to provide everything you need from a media perspective and to make the PARROT1 shine (...and to connect a speaker or two via the stick or plug in a 2.0 speaker into the available USB port). The only thing I wish this had was a firmware update to make the GUI the same size as the scaled down image. For instance if I have now shrunken down to a 50 inch 16x9 screen for my FIRESTICK, I expect the GUI to also shrink down in size and not be at 100% (or at a 200 inch screen equivalent). Maybe Bomaker will get around to that being updated in a future firmware. Despite this issue, the PARROT1 is an excellent purchase and great overall value. I plan to use it off angle (and then KEYSTONE correct) near my hot tub outside to project sporting events off of a white 84 inch polyester screen (which looks great) on the side of my house.
Just switched over from the yaber v10 and the Bomaker is much better . Brighter image , and overall better . The yaber the brightness had to be turned way up to have a pleasing image.
The Parot despite being older is just plain better.
We are very impressed with this projector. Great quality on the picture and pleasantly surprised by the sound.
Had to play with the distance for picto fit on the screen properly but overall adjustments were easy to do.
We used a Roku stick.
Very pleased and will definitely recommend.
All OK 100%
